How we process personal data and use cookies

Introduction

This privacy policy describes how Transport2Airport, as the data controller, processes personal data of website visitors and customers who book an airport transfer or contact us through the demand or contact form.

Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on the processing of personal data.

What personal data we process

When providing our services and in connection with your visit to our website, we process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification and contact data – first name, last name, email address, phone number
  • Demand data – pickup location, destination, date and time of transfer, number of passengers, luggage, order notes
  • Billing data – if you request an invoice (name, address, company ID, VAT ID)
  • Communication data – content of messages sent via contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp
  • Technical data – IP address, browser type, operating system, time of visit, pages visited
  • Data from cookies and similar technologies – see the "Cookies" section

Purposes and legal basis for processing

We process personal data only for defined purposes and on the basis of an appropriate legal title under Article 6 of the GDPR:

Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

Processing your demand, concluding and performing the transport contract, communicating about your order and providing the service.

Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)

Bookkeeping, issuing and archiving tax documents under accounting and VAT laws.

Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

Protecting our rights and legitimate interests, improving our services, securing the website, fraud prevention, basic visitor analytics.

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

Use of analytics and marketing cookies, sending of commercial communications (if you opt in).

How long we keep personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary:

  • Demand and order data – for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for 3 years in case of claims
  • Accounting and tax documents – for 10 years as required by law
  • Communication via forms and emails – a maximum of 3 years
  • Cookies – depending on the type of cookie, see the "Cookies" section

Who we share personal data with

We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients (processors):

  • Web hosting and server infrastructure providers
  • External accounting office
  • Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics) – only with your consent
  • Public authorities where required by law

We do not transfer personal data to third countries outside the EU/EEA, except where an adequate level of protection under the GDPR is ensured.

Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access – you can request information about what data we process about you
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") under the conditions set by the GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability in a structured, commonly used format
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz)
